Long Island’s Hope House Ministries Slated For New Roof From Local Contractor
King Quality Roofing and Siding, led by CEO Jeff Brett, is donating a new roof to Hope House Ministries’ Emmaus House in Port Jefferson, Long Island, after discovering a leak. The ministry, founded by Father Francis Pizzarelli in 1980, provides critical services to families in crisis, expectant mothers, and those struggling with addiction. GAF and ABC Supply Company are donating the necessary materials. This is King Quality’s second roof donation to Hope House Ministries, following last year’s donation to Matt’s House. Brett cited Hope House’s life-changing work as inspiration for the donation.

KQ Cares: Impact Update
As of 9/26, we are delighted to have learned Long Island Against Domestic Violence (a KQ Cares media grant recipient), that the organization’s hotline received an increase across all their metrics including 600 calls in August 2023 while the KQ Cares campaign was running. During this same period, LIADV’s Google listing received a 53 percent increase in calls, with website visitors increasing 43 percent and traffic to its Google profile increasing 43 percent. Additionally, Google searches for “Long Island Against Domestic Violence” increased 65 percent.

From there, a team of volunteers wraps, packages, and delivers the gifts, ensuring every child experiences the magic of the season.
